“Trust the process…”
So what is the process…?
-
Design
Each mural I design is bespoke, unique and collaborative with the client; this way it ensures the artwork reflects their vision and values. By actively involving the client in the design process, I ensure that the final mural resonates with their aesthetic preferences, meets their specific needs and is able to be adapted to fit whatever budget they may have. Creating clients vision in partnership with them results in a mural that not only enhances the space but also knowing that their ideas and input have contributed to the creation of a meaningful and impactful piece of art.

Process
I use a projector to add the agreed design to the wall. I do this for two reasons:
So you can view the rough product and sizing before I go ahead, meaning changes can be made at this earlier stage.
So that proportions remain true to the design I would have sent you for approval.
The biggest thing I say to clients is that they need to trust the process. In particular with big projects there can be an element of “what have I done!?” The middle of the project does not look like the final piece - so do not panic!
-
Final product
The finalised mural project is then a vibrant testament to the collaborative efforts between myself and the client. With intricate details that enhance the space and also reflect the unique vision of the client. The mural will become the focal point for any home, work environment or community space.
But don’t just take my word for it…

The time it takes to paint a mural depends on the size and complexity of the design. The beauty of it being designed before arrival means all the time Kate is onsite she is painting! Most projects take between two days and a week depending on the space and level of detail. It also depends on the time Kate can access the site from.

Prices are very diverse and depend on many factors. The price is usually calculated per square meter and the more meters, the lower the price per meter. The more details, the higher the price.
And, yes, we can do a mural on a budget! The price of the mural can be adapted to virtually every budget so everyone can really afford a mural at home. Local murals start from around £300.

Absolutely!
At The Poole Creative we understand that you still need your business to run as normal and you can’t have painting tools getting in your way! There may be an additional charge for this but it is minimal and we want to be able create something beautiful for you in your space at a time that on’t impact your business.

Before I am able to paint a surface, please follow these steps:
Clear the area – Move all objects and protect nearby surfaces with sheets or tape.
Clean the surface – Remove dust, grease, and dirt using a damp cloth or mild cleaner.
Repair damage – Fill any holes or cracks and sand them smooth once dry.
Sand the surface – Lightly sand to create a smooth, even base for the paint to stick to.
Wipe down – Remove sanding dust with a clean, dry cloth.
Prime if needed – Apply a primer if the surface is porous, stained, or previously unpainted.
Let it dry – Make sure everything is completely dry before starting to paint.

Kate is based in a village in Warwickshire. But is happy to take commissions all over the country. However, anywhere that is over 30 minutes from where she is based or if an overnight stay is required this will be added to the quotation.

We prefer to design and paint all of our artwork. If you have a design you would like then we can discuss this. Though changes will generally have to be made to the client supplied design for various reasons. We encourage our clients to provide us with reference images of artwork you have seen. That you like and we can provide a concept for you based from, but please note we do not paint other artists work/images. Kate is happy to work in the style of certain artists, but artwork is all originally drawn by Kate.

Our murals are painted with high quality acrylic paints and we have found they have lasted over a decade with minimal fading when not in direct sunlight. However if the areais regularly wiped or scuffed we do advise a matte top coat can help longevity.
